Asigra Helps DMGT Pensions for Backup Without Tape

Asigra, Inc. announced details of its work alongside partner Databarracks to help DMGT Pensions for its backup system and move away from its old tape-based structure.

The company’s 1TB of data is now backed up using Asigra Cloud Backup, and recovery has been sped up; restores that were taking an entire day are now being done in a matter of a couple of hours. It is hoped that recovery times will be further slashed once the team’s virtualisation plans are completed; Asigra Cloud Backup has the potential to grow and develop dynamically with the company’s future IT plans. DMGT achieves better business outcomes by focussing on helping members of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc pension scheme, instead of being distracted by technology.
