This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 22, 2011 at 2:55 pmLH Computer Services, provider of data storage solutions, and Nexsan Corp. announced their extended partnership as LH Computer Services adds the new Nexsan E-Series of storage systems to its suite of data storage solutions for the mid-market.
"With customers in nearly every vertical whose storage requirements are driven by a wide range of applications, we require storage solutions that can easily adapt to their respective environments," said Doug Cole, a principal with LH Computer Services. "The Nexsan E-Series provides impressive flexibility and performance to meet these demands while delivering operational efficiency that dramatically reduces the TCO."
"Our new E-Series storage systems were designed just as much for our valued partners like LH Computer Services as they were for our end customers," said Victoria Grey, senior vice president of marketing, Nexsan. "The robust centralized storage management software simplifies deployment, management and support while enterprise-class features including high density, high reliability and low power operation give partners the flexibility they need to architect efficient and intelligent storage infrastructures for their customers, right out of the box."
The new Nexsan E-Series includes the E18, E60 and E60X. The E18 utilizes SAS and/or SSD drives to deliver performance storage to physical or virtual hosts via a Fibre Channel or iSCSI SAN. The E60 adds storage density of 60 drives in 4U of rack space, with the ability to save up to 87% on power, for backup to disk and archive applications. The E60X adds two 4x SAS connectors and a dedicated Ethernet port for management.
