Bull and NetApp Open Joint Solution Center

Hosted in Bull‘s Customer Briefing Center (CBC) in the Grenoble technopole in the French Alps, the facility leverages NetApp, Inc.‘s storage technologies and Bull’s storage expertise delivered through their StoreWay storage integration organisation.

The StoreWay NetApp Solution Center showcases the latest in storage solutions through end-to-end storage infrastructures integrating application, server and storage components and addressing the needs of organisations to reduce cost, manage risk and improve service levels while maintaining operational flexibility.

Through technology briefings, workshops and live demonstrations, the StoreWay NetApp Solution Center addresses the storage challenges faced by organisations, covering topics including Desktop Virtualisation, Data Backup in Virtualised Environments and Hierarchical Storage Management of email and file data.

The event took place in the presence of Michel Destot, Deputy and Mayor of Grenoble, Geneviève Fioraso, Deputy of the Isère department, Jean Vaylet, President of Industry and Commerce Chamber of Grenoble, Loic Lietar, President of Minalogic, the micro-nanotechnology and embedded software international cluster. It was the opportunity for Philippe Miltin, Executive VP of Bull Computing Solutions Business Line, Olivier Gaumont, Director of Bull Enterprise Server and Storage, and Marc Montiel, General Manager of NetApp France. to meet journalists and major customers.

The StoreWay NetApp Solution Center is open to Bull and NetApp’s French and International customers through on-site visits and remote access.
