Finis Conner Left Millenniata
After only five months as CEO
By Jean Jacques Maleval | March 18, 2011 at 3:43 pmWe just learned that storage legendary Finis Conner left last July Millenniata, Inc., a new permanent archival technology company, only five months after his election as CEO.
Why? He wrote in an email: "After resolving many of management issues and resetting marketing/sales and strategy, a set of shareholders continued to be a problem for raising funds with threats of legal action to prior management and precluded funding. Sr. management team left with the limited board and a select group of shareholders took charge. They cut prices in half and raised a small amount of money recently from shareholders."
He continues to follow IT technologies and seems to look at new opportunities.
