Cisco-EMC joint venture picks Texas for 434 new jobs
A joint venture of Cisco Systems and EMC Corp. plans to move its headquarters to Richardson, Texas, and create 434 new jobs in the Dallas suburb. Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Wednesday announced that the state had pledged $2.45 million in incentives to The Virtual Computing Environment Co., which was formed by San Jose, Calif.-based Cisco and Hopkinton, Mass.-based EMC in 2009.
