In his new role, Hausman will run network operations, client services, and business and people operations to support the company’s goal of further expanding its enterprise, global and partner relationships. He brings more than 10 years of product development, cloud storage and software-as-a-service (SaaS) experience from leading technology companies, including HP, Symantec and Veritas.

Hausman joins LiveOffice from HP, where he most recently led the HP StorageWorks Nearline organization, delivering the StoreOnce de-duplication solutions and disk- and tape-based data protection offerings. During his tenure at HP, he also led the Unified Storage organization, focusing on scale-out block and file storage and spearheading a common storage platform that was recently released as part of the HP E5000 Exchange appliance. Previously Hausman spent more than five-and-a-half years at Symantec and Veritas, where he served as vice president and general manager of the Symantec Protection Network, the company’s SaaS platform providing security and data management solutions. He also helped successfully grow the industry-leading Enterprise Vault archiving solution. Earlier in his career, Hausman held leadership roles at several early-stage technology companies and served as a consultant to Fortune 500 clients as part of Booz & Co.
