"For many organizations, a move towards private cloud computing will enable considerable benefits such as longer-term cost savings, improved scalability and flexibility and may even introduce time-to-market advantages," said Eric Sheppard, Research Director, Storage Software, IDC. "That said, such a move also introduces new layers of abstraction and automation within a data center and thus could result in an additional level of complication and risks. RecoverGuard software helps to mitigate against this by providing the ability to identify many of the potential exposures and thereby enabling the IT department to proactively deal with risks."
"As data and applications are the lifeblood of most enterprise business organizations, ensuring their protection and availability must be priority #1. However, designing, deploying and effectively managing a private cloud infrastructure is a very complicated endeavor – made all the more so because of all the changes and updates that are made within virtually all data centers on a continual basis," said Gil Hecht, Founder and CEO of Continuity Software. "RecoverGuard v5.3 provides private cloud customers with the peace-of-mind that their data and applications will be fully protected and available at all times. Even the smallest gap or vulnerability can be found and eradicated long before it poses any real threat to the business."
