UIT Achieves FalconStor VTL Certification

United Information Technology (UIT) Co. Ltd. has completed the qualification process for its SV3000 family of storage products with FalconStor Software‘s suite of data protection solutions.

The SV3000 configured with Fibre Channel interfaces passed a certification procedure carried out by FalconStor’s team of qualification engineers based in Melville, New York.

Data security plays an important role in any storage installation and UIT’s FC-SAN and IP-SAN systems are built to conform to stringent specifications, providing for active/active failover with hot swappable RAID controllers. FalconStor’s software brings additional features to the UIT products with FalconStor Virtual Tape Library with de-duplication and FalconStor Continuous Data Protector.
