Remote Backup RBackup Version 11.2.4

Remote Backup Systems announced the release of its latest software upgrade, RBackup Version 11.2.4, now available as a self-hosted commercial online backup solution for MSPs, VARs and other service providers.

The biggest enhancement is the new VSS-based (Volume Shadow Copy) Open files solution. This replaces the OFA (Open Files Agent) driver functionality in previous versions.

Other enhancements included in this release improve BitBackup (their sub-file level backup technology), the Remote Management module, and the Client Installer. Support for the Italian language has also been added.

Software updates and upgrades issued by Remote Backup Systems are available to registered RBS Service Providers with active support subscriptions and can be downloaded.

To promote the new release, Remote Backup Systems is offering six months of free support with paid support renewals and extensions through February 18th.
