Mezolink Has Chosen Telx
As partner for online backup
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 7, 2011 at 2:53 pmTelx, an interconnection and colocation provider in North American markets, announced that Mezolink, provider serving the enterprise, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing industries, has chosen Telx as its colocation and connectivity partner in New York, Chicago and Miami.
Telx’s carrier-neutral data centers in these three urban markets help Mezolink keep uptime and availability for customers leveraging its online backup service, Mezobak.
"Mezolink had a client-driven need to diversify our data center colocation plan to ensure the highest availability to our business continuity customers. Telx offered us the key locations and carrier-neutral model we required from a colocation and connectivity partner," said Greg Livesay, Director of Marketing, Mezolink. "With Telx, we can leverage our ISP connectivity agreements with 20+ carriers in each data center, giving us the choice and flexibility we need to keep our online backup services running quickly and securely. We also like the possibility of leveraging Telx’s other value-added services and strategic locations in the future."
As a cloud provider connectivity partner, Telx can offer carrier choice in all 15 data center locations. Cloud providers can colocate servers and other hosting infrastructure, select their preferred network providers and manage their own infrastructure in a secure and reliable environment. The connectivity alternatives within Telx’s carrier and cloud-neutral facilities provide the flexibility for virtually any cloud computing deployment model.
"Telx welcomes Mezolink to our expanding cloud marketplace," said Brad Hokamp, Chief Marketing Officer for Telx. "Telx’s colocation and interconnection solutions enable Mezolink to improve the reliability, security, and latency of their on-demand infrastructure while lowering the cost of entering new markets."
