Fastweb Chooses F-Secure

Fastweb, a telecommunications company in Italy, has selected F-Secure Corp. to provide its 1.7 million customers with Internet security and online backup.

Fastweb’s business and residential customers can select either the Online Backup Service, or the Protection Service combined with Online Backup.

The explosion of user-generated content, fueled by camera phones and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, has created the need for innovative services to protect and store the increasing volumes of personal content. F-Secure makes it easy for operators to offer security and storage services in one seamless solution. This offering will enable Fastweb’s users to protect, backup, manage and share their digital content.
