Ditto Offsite Backup was recognized in a recently published case study from backup software vendor NovaStor discussing the start-up online backup service provider.

Based in Castle Hill, Australia, Ditto specializes in delivering fast, secure online backup to small and medium sized businesses in Southeast Australia.

James Borg founded Ditto Offsite Backup in 2010 after managing customer backups for a previous employer. The company specializes in providing secure online backup to Australian software development companies and their end customers; however, they also work with various other types of small to medium sized businesses in Southeastern Australia.

Australian businesses often find it difficult to embrace online backup due to limited bandwidth and slow internet connections. However, Ditto has leveraged its access to one of the fastest links in the region along with the software it uses to power its service, NovaBACKUP xSP, to sign on nearly 20 business customers and become a profitable company in less than one year.

"Our backups have been successful 99.9% of the time," said Borg.

On the off chance that a backup is not successful, Ditto is able to notify the customer and rectify the issue.

Ditto Offsite Backup has various pricing plans available, from $25 per month for up to 5GB to $500 per month for up to 1TB. They also offer monthly offloads for an additional $10 per month.
