On January 24, 2011, the Company announced that John L. Sullivan, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary will be leaving the Company to pursue other interests, effective May 31, 2011. Upon his departure, Mr. Sullivan will be entitled to a severance payment under the Company’s severance agreement for executive officers.

Before joining Imation, John Sullivan was at Silicon Graphics and Cray
Research. He also held numerous legal positions, including that of
General Counsel at Cray Research prior to joining Silicon
Graphics.
He holds a doctorate of jurisprudence degree from the University of
Notre Dame Law School and a bachelor of arts degree in quantitative
methods from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
