1U RAX Rackmount Storage Systems From CRU-DataPort

1U rackmount storage systems are versatile with RAX removable 2-bay enclosures from CRU-DataPort. Whether you need RAID or JBOD, access to bare HDDs or protection of an enclosed removable drive carrier, RAX is the answer. Additionally, RAX is available with hardware based encryption and on-demand write-protection for read/write access and added data security to meet storage demands.

CRU-DataPort incorporated proprietary TrayFree bays and removable drive carrier technologies into the RAX 1U rackmount chassis providing solutions for disk-to-disk backup, off-site disaster recovery and data ingestion.

Available Bay Options:

• TrayFree Hardened Bays allow easy access to bare HDD by simply opening the bay door and inserting or removing the drive.
• DataPort 10 Removable Drive Carriers offer added protection with an all metal carrier completely housing the HDD.
• DataPort 10 Secure with Internal Key adds 128-bit hardware based encryption ensuring data security and HDD protection.

RAX products offer several interface options including FireWire 800/400, USB 2.0, SFF-8470 Multilane and eSATA versions with point-to-point and via port multiplier. The metal chassis provides heat dissipation while three 40mm fans offer cooling.
