Laplink Software, Inc., in PC migration software, announced Laplink DiskImage, for backup and recovery to protect users from unforeseen data loss.

Laplink DiskImage protects PCs with a copy (image) of all the applications, files and settings. Users can also use it to restore that image and recover damaged or lost files due to corrupted systems, viruses, hackers or other malware. It can restore to a PC with different hardware using the Hardware Independent Restore feature.

Using Laplink DiskImage doesn’t just secure data, but the entire PC, including the operating system. When an image is restored, the old PCs setup is restored along with the data regardless of whether it is onto the same PC or onto another one.
