Cloud Email Archiving Provider LiveOffice Sees Revenue Growing 148% Y/Y

Average number of mailboxes sold per transaction up 250%

LiveOffice LLC, provider of cloud-based email archiving, email compliance and email continuity solutions, reported another consecutive quarter of record revenue.

This achievement was driven by the proliferation of LiveOffice Personal Archive and LiveOffice Discovery Archive enterprise deployments around the world, and through the company’s expanding partner channel. As a result, new sales grew 148 percent year-over-year for the fourth quarter of 2010. In addition, the company’s average number of mailboxes sold per transaction grew more than 250 percent.

"Three major trends emerged for our business this quarter," said Nick Mehta, CEO of LiveOffice. "We saw significant growth in enterprise adoption of our cloud-based archiving solutions, continued demand from our partner channel and mounting international interest in our product suite."

More enterprises are choosing LiveOffice to satisfy their archiving needs, including a well-known Fortune 50 company with 120,000 users worldwide. This deal represents one of the largest cloud-based archiving sales to date.

In addition, LiveOffice added a number of other large enterprises to its client roster in the fourth quarter, including:

  • A South African service provider with more than 40,000 users
  • A global accounting firm with 17,000 users in Europe
  • An Indian energy company with 10,000 users
  • A U.S.-based media and marketing company with more than 6,000 users

LiveOffice continued to enhance its existing products, while adding support for new content types and optimizing the user experience. Fourth quarter product highlights include:

  • LiveOffice Email Continuity: LiveOffice completed an upgrade to its email continuity and backup solution, becoming the first email archiving provider to integrate its always-on LiveOffice Email Continuity service with leading third-party, cloud-based email security services.
  • LiveOffice Chatter Archive for Salesforce.com: Extending LiveOffice’s existing archiving services for email, instant messages (IM), mobile messages, SharePoint and social media, Chatter Archive automatically captures and indexes all Salesforce.com Chatter content in a centralized, online repository. This new solution helps companies quickly and effectively meet a variety of requirements surrounding regulatory and corporate compliance, legal discovery, information retention and preservation of intellectual property (IP).
  • LiveOffice Personal Archive Folder Sync: This feature replicates users’ existing Outlook folder structures in Personal Archive, allowing them to seamlessly browse their archives just as they would their inboxes and quickly switch between the two. Keeping with the intended simplicity of cloud-based solutions, Folder Sync does not require plug-ins or hardware and offers a deployment experience that is transparent to end users.
  • LiveOffice Personal Archive for Windows Phone 7: LiveOffice’s latest mobile device application provides Windows Phone 7 users with unlimited archive storage for emails and attachments. Users also have unlimited search capabilities and unlimited access to messages – even if their primary email platform is down.

The company also earned a spot on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s list of 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Los Angeles for the second year.
