A former EMC Corp. pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges related to theft and sale of nearly $1 million of equipment from the Hopkinton, Mass.-based storage computer giant. The former employee, Kevin Kelly of North Carolina, is accused of stealing $929,891 worth of high-tech equipment from an EMC factory in the state, according to U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz, who announced the guilty plea Thursday.
