Exar BitWackr Now VMware Read
For SAN reference platform

This designation indicates that the BitWackr for SAN reference platform has passed an evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility List.
Passing the VMware-specified testing helps ensure that the BitWackr for SAN reference platform makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.
"We are pleased that the BitWackr for SAN reference platform qualifies for the VMware Ready- logo, signifying to customers that it has passed specific VMware testing and interoperability criteria and is ready to run in production environments," said Bernie Mills, senior director, alliance programs, VMware.
According to Exar’s Bob Farkaly, director of product management, Storage Systems: "Exar will work with and assist OEMs implementing Exar’s products in completing their own VMware Ready- certifications."
The VMware Ready program is a VMware co-branding program for qualified partner products and is a benefit of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. With more than 1600 members worldwide, the VMware TAP program works with technology partners to provide them a comprehensive set of VMware technical and marketing services, support, tools and expertise to deliver enhanced value to joint customers.
