Merriman Capital and Needham & Company Acted as Placement Agents for OCZ

To sell common shares for $17 million

Merriman Capital, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merriman Holdings, Inc. announced that it and Needham & Company acted as placement agents to certain selling shareholders in the sale of 4,640,525 unregistered common shares of OCZ Technology Group Inc.

The shares offered by existing shareholders were sold to new and existing shareholders at $3.75 per share for gross proceeds of $17,401,969. OCZ Technology Group Inc. received no proceeds from the sale of the shares.

The transaction closed on December 24, 2010.
