Fujitsu and Ingram Micro Expand EMEA Channel Agreement
As part of joint SMB value distribution strategy

Ingram Micro will become a Fujitsu pan-European value-added distribution partner for the SMB- and mid-market, supplying the entire Fujitsu Dynamic Infrastructures portfolio of IT products and solutions including PRIMERGY servers and ETERNUS storage. Ingram Micro already distributes NetApp products sold via Fujitsu in Germany, and Fujitsu will look into expanding this agreement to cover other countries in Europe.
The new, expanded relationship between Fujitsu and Ingram Micro delivers benefits to channel partners. Select partners and Select Experts within the Channel partner program of Fujitsu will experience improved presale capabilities and business support from Ingram Micro, as well as from Fujitsu. This will enable them to offer customers the complete range of Dynamic Infrastructure products and solutions from Fujitsu.
The relationship between Fujitsu and Ingram Micro builds on the companies’ recent business development and growth. EMEA revenue across joint server and storage sales in the six months between April and September 2010 has seen a double digit increase year on year.
Fujitsu’s Dynamic Infrastructures strategy delivers flexible, easy to manage and cost-effective IT and services for companies of all sizes, enabling them to use technology to maximize business agility and reduce administration. The combination of the Dynamic Infrastructures range with Ingram Micro’s pan-European distribution reach will enable Fujitsu to further target both small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), and the mid-market.
