Online Backup Firm eFileCabinet Releases SecureDrawer V2.0
To share files quickly and securely via the Web
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 3, 2010 at 2:50 pmeFileCabinet, Inc. announced the release of SecureDrawer v2.0, a new version of its web-based client portal service that enables users to share files via a secure, online repository.
The enhancements in SecureDrawer v2.0 give users more flexibility and ease when sharing files that are either too large or sensitive to distribute via public email, or files that would require a cumbersome FTP exchange or expensive overnight delivery service.
New and enhanced features include improved user groups and permissions, an interface allowing users to drag and drop files into the portal, ability to apply notes, expiration dates and passwords at file upload, enhanced custom branding and login features and the capability to import users via CSV file.
"The enhancements to SecureDrawer v2.0 are quite significant," said Matt Peterson, President & CEO of eFileCabinet, Inc. "We focused strongly on our customers’ needs and our commitment to develop solutions that increase their productivity. Customers have found that SecureDrawer allows them to improve their customer service and loyalty while still meeting data security regulations and dramatically reducing the time and money spent sending files through traditional methods."
Another feature in SecureDrawer v2.0 is the integration with eFileCabinet v5.0, eFileCabinet’s electronic document management system that was released in September of this year. Customers who purchase both products are able to upload their files from eFileCabinet to their SecureDrawer account with a click of a mouse.
"The tight integration of SecureDrawer v2.0 with eFileCabinet v5.0 makes us a very compelling suite of products for customers to capture, manage and protect their data," Peterson said.

SecureDrawer 2.0 is available. Four monthly subscription plans are available to meet specific customer usage needs. Prices vary between $10 per month for 100 client users and 2GB of file storage to $595 for unlimited client users and 150GB.
