Adata Opens India Subsidiary

In a move to strengthen its worldwide positioning and to accelerate growth, ADATA hopes that this new office will help to bring it closer to its Indian customer base. Today, ADATA aims to become India’s leading vendor of both DRAM modules and NAND Flash products. The Grand Opening ceremony took place on 23rd November in Mumbai, bringing together ADATA’s President, IU Kim, with regional partners and Indian customers.
"This important step reflects the increasing importance of the Indian market, and ADATA’s commitment to India. This will help consolidate our position as one of the world’s top vendors," said IU Kim, President of ADATA Technology.
As a relatively young company, founded in 2001, ADATA has already experienced growth, climbing to the number two spot worldwide for memory modules, and number four for NAND Flash products.
In celebration of the launching of the new office, ADATA has also announced a promotional scheme for its Indian Channel resellers. This limited time program will be award additional gifts on the purchase of certain quantities of ADATA USB flash drives, and is effective from November 17th until December 16th. The channel scheme is designed to encourage and reward ADATA’s partners, and represents the company’s policy of active engagement in key markets.
