LabTech Offers Partners Storage Backup in the Cloud

LabTech Software, a Remote Monitoring, Management (RMM) and automation solution, announced a ‘Freemium’ offer with Doyenz Inc. and StorageCraft Technology Corp. for all LabTech partners to protect their LabTech server in the Doyenz Shadowcloud, providing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with the ability to have a storage backup in the cloud.

Doyenz is supplying the cloud storage for LabTech partners via a disk-based backup and recovery solution – StorageCraft ShadowProtect. ShadowProtect offers flexibility in replicating servers (OS, applications and data) to the cloud and back again with ShadowProtect’s automated Hardware Independent Restore technology. Instead of unnecessary or lengthy down time, users can restore the server and be back working in minutes because they can failover servers by using VirtualBoot to boot the server as a virtual machine, or pre-stage the server as a VM with HeadStart Restore technology.

In addition to jointly promoting the Shadowcloud offering to LabTech partners, LabTech will also sell a version of Doyenz with the Doyenz user interface available through the LabTech console. Future enhancements to the integration will include the ability to deploy the Doyenz agent through LabTech and manage notifications being sent from Doyenz through LabTech.
