CMS Peripherals to Distribute StratoGen

CMS Peripherals, the UK- and Ireland-based VAD of information storage and security products and solutions, has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with StratoGen, a managed hosting company and a target for the replication of Dell EqualLogic arrays into the Cloud. Under the terms of the agreement CMS Peripherals will distribute StratoGen’s services to its reseller channels throughout UK and Ireland.

With experience of engaging its reseller community with innovative technology for some 22 years, CMS Peripherals is an addition to the distribution channel at StratoGen.

According to Joe Fagan, Product Marketing Manager at CMS Peripherals, "As part of our CloudMadeSimple initiative we are pleased to partner with StratoGen to provide a service that allows users of Dell EqualLogic arrays to replicate their SANs into the Cloud. StratoGen have an excellent solution that’s margin rich, is easy for the reseller to promote and painless for the end-user to adopt. StratoGen do a lot more, but we believe this solution alone constitutes a significant value proposition to our Dell EqualLogic reseller community that allows them to participate in Cloud based services without any investment."

As a part of the newly announced partnership, CMS will recruit and authorise resellers for StratoGen. In addition, StratoGen will engage the membership community of CMS Peripherals that includes a community of Storage and Security VARs, to share best practices, grow their businesses and embrace the opportunities that Cloud services presents.
