Delivering 4x HPC leading throughput and IOPs per industry standard rack, with up to 40GB/s demonstrated sustained drive reads per rack, the Xanadu 300 storage system is a key component in Lustre and GPFS implementations. Each 4U building block consists of 60 front loaded drives which can sustain 4GB/s. Utilizing a parallel file system to combine multiple Xanadu 300 systems together into one logical array, users can scale to 1.8PB of capacity and 40GB/s of performance in a 42U Rack.

The Xanadu 300 HPC storage solution includes features such as SafeStore Data Assurance, which provides data integrity beyond industry standard T10-PI/DIF, checking data during any internal transfer and providing fault isolation. Host port options include 8 6Gb SAS, 8 8Gb FC with 4 6Gb SAS, 8 1Gb/s with 4 6Gb SAS, and 4 10Gb/s iSCSI with 4 6Gb SAS; while 6Gb SAS, 2 and 3TB Nearline, SSD, and FDE drives are all supported in any combination.

"The Xanadu 300 is a unique solution in the industry, allowing users to start as small as twenty drives and scale up to a maximum of 1.8PB and 40GB/s within a single rack, all in a wide variety of standard and parallel file system options," stated Bob Picardi, CEO of RAID Inc.
