Seagate to pay $1.9M to former employee
A Minnesota jury has decided that Seagate Technology should pay $1.9 million to a former employee over a job that fell through. Chandramouli Vaidyanathan left his job at Texas Instruments and moved to Minnesota in 2008 for a job as yield engineer at Seagate. However, he said that when he arrived at Seagate there was no such position, and nine months later he was laid off.
