Novosoft Handy Backup for Android 1.5

Novosoft LLC released the new version of their backup utility for android-driven mobile phones, Handy Backup for Android.

The new version of the program has integration with Remote Backup Service, which makes remote backup of phone messages, settings, contacts and SD card data easy for all Android users, supports contacts API v2.0-2.2 and has a number of improvements.

"The closer integration of Handy Backup for Android with Novosoft Remote Backup Service is meant to bring our users more convenient and easy way of remote backup", said Alexandr Prichalov, head of Novosoft development department. "The new version allows our users to create trial accounts and sample online backup tasks automatically, without requiring to enter registration information. This is a step in the direction of what we can call ‘the power of simplicity’ – when one can have a reliable backup of all important data with the minimal efforts".

The new version supports Android API 2.0 and can back up all contact data, including name, phone number, email, IM, picture and other data. Besides, Handy Backup for Android now can back up all internet browser bookmarks, history and settings.

Also, Handy Backup for Android 1.5 has more reliable and convenient system of backup task management: now the users can modify their tasks, and restore them after a factory reset, as all application settings and tasks are automatically backed up to SD card.
