Nine Technology Offers Imation RDX

Imation Corp. announced a partnership with Nine Technology, an online backup and recovery developer, to offer cloud seeding backup process for the Powered by Nine disaster recovery system. This new combined approach, utilizing Imation’s RDX removable hard disk solution, will offer Nine Technology clients the opportunity to improve their overall business continuity strategy.

The Imation RDX removable disk cartridge system provides an extra measure of protection to businesses storing critical data. The USB and SATA-compatible drive is equipped to withstand the rigors of cross-country travel, making it an ideal seeded backup device.

Imation’s RDX solution provides fast, easy and reliable backup. The system includes a docking station and a high-capacity, rugged and removable 2.5-inch hard disk drive cartridge in storage capacities ranging from 160GB to 1TB, allowing businesses of all sizes to take advantage of the new capabilities. Both the RDX docking station and cartridges are forward and backward compatible, enabling future scalability.
