RAIDON released the new SAS 6G storage solution, iR2880-8S-U5, performing data transfer rate beyond 700MB/s while providing stability and RAID-6 data redundancy. iR2880-8S-U5 offers a SAS 6G storage solution especially to multi-operational workstations and data based servers for the SMB.

 
iR2880-8S-U5 equipped SAS 6G PCBA from RAIDON latest development with Intel 80341 CPU and 1GB of DDR2 RAM under the hood, embedded dual SAS 6G host interface delivering the optimal performances and supports 8 of 15mm height 2.5″ HDD from a physical figure of three standard 5.25″ CD-ROM spaces. It also provides simple system configuration and monitoring via LCD control panel, LAN or RS232 ports.
 
iR2880-8S-U5 offers multiple RAID levels up to RAID-6 for the highest data redundancy ability, further provides high level snapshot and clone functions. The snapshot function calculates from existing data, keeping the changes of system in records on each given time for any necessary recoveries by retrieving non-failed system records, and the clone function gives the complete system backups from scheduling, when failure or corruption occurs, system can easily recovered from existing data backups and swiftly return normal operation. With the existence of these two functions, iR2880-8S-U5 sufficiently provides additional security to last the valuable data.
