EClaris Can Index 1PB of Backup Tapes in One Month

Our high-performance Index Engines appliances churn out terabytes of data per day. eClaris can now catalog and index more that a petabyte (1000 terabytes) of backup tape content in just one month. The data is stored on the company’s recently acquired Hitachi AMS 2100 and AMS 2500. The AMS 2500 has 400TB of storage space configured with dual-parity high-availability and data protection," said the company.
