As one of the National Hockey League’s most successful franchises, the Pittsburgh Penguins pay attention to detail at every level of the organization. That dedication has led to three Stanley Cup championships and the recipient of numerous awards for professional sports organizations, including fan relations and many more. With a rabid fan base in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and also a global fan base, excellence in all aspects of the organization is critical. The attention to detail is carried over to the IT organization, which provides technology support to the Penguins’ 150-plus employees. The Penguins use PerfectDisk Exchange to ensure its Exchange environment runs smoothly.
"PerfectDisk Exchange helps us maintain a high level of Exchange performance and minimizes Exchange downtime," said Erik Watts, Director, Information Technology for the Pittsburgh Penguins. "Without PerfectDisk Exchange, keeping Exchange data stores properly defragmented and compacted, and keeping Exchange running optimally is a manual, resource-intensive process. By running PerfectDisk Exchange, my staff can concentrate on our key initiatives for the marketing, ticket sales and administrative side of the Penguins."
"We’re extremely happy to have one of the most highly successful and well-run organizations in all of professional sports using PerfectDisk Exchange," said Joe Abusamra, vice president of operations at Raxco Software. "Microsoft Exchange is a critical component of thousands of organizations around the world, and the Pittsburgh Penguins’ use of PerfectDisk Exchange helps validate it as a key component of proper Exchange administration."
