Red Gate PST Importer (€395) for Exchange Server 2010

"To end the performance and storage nightmares caused by .pst files"

Red Gate Software Ltd. has released a PST Importer 2010 tool that promises to end the performance and storage nightmares caused by PST files within Microsoft Exchange Server environments.

The new tool enables SysAdmins to find PST files on their networks and import them into Exchange Server 2010. PST Importer 2010 can optionally import non-email items such as calendars, contacts and tasks into Exchange Server. The process has very little impact on network infrastructure and is virtually invisible to end users.

"It’s remarkable how often one hears ‘PST files’ and ‘nightmare’ used in the same sentence,” says Matt Dickens, Red Gate’s lead developer for PST Importer 2010. "But based on what we’re hearing from our customers, the nightmare can finally end with PST Importer 2010.”

Makes quick work of importing
"Going into battle with large batches of PST files can be daunting, and potentially cause serious problems for your IT infrastructure,” says Sean Duffy, an IT infrastructure engineer for an enterprise-level hosting company. "PST Importer 2010 is the first product that offers a full suite of automated importing options for Exchange 2010. No powershell required. The simple interface made quick work of importing PST files into my Exchange 2010 stores.

PST Importer can download for a free, functional 14-day trial version.
