StorSimple Raised $13 Million

Based in Santa Clara, CA, StorSimple, Inc. raised $13 million in series B funding, led by Mayfield Fund. Ignition Partners is also a new investor in the company, joining previous ones Index Ventures and Redpoint Ventures.

Mayfield Fund is also an investor in 3par.

The start-up got $8 million in Series A funding in June 2009, and total now reaches $21 million.

Founded in 2009, StorSimple offers a cloud hybrid storage appliance for Exchange Server 2010, SharePoint, and Windows File Servers.
