Synology DiskStation Manager 3.0 Beta

Synology, Inc. announces the beginning of the DiskStation Manager (DSM) 3.0 beta program. This new NAS OS brings new features and tools to enhance the remote access experience and simplify network administration.

DSM 3.0 simplifies network administration, offering:

• Customizable desktop for rapid access to frequently used tools
• Multi-tasking for faster task switching
• ACL support, for NTFS-style permissions, allows more granular file-level control

In addition, DS photo+ has been released to enhance the experience of iPhone users. Synology has also released apps for the Android platform to offer the same level of remote access enjoyed by iPhone users.
