Available through the Apple Store in Q3 2010, iCloudRecovery will allow current customers, partners and lead partners to access their portal accounts directly from an iPhone. "When the power went out in the downtown core the first thing we thought of was how long are the UPSs going to last?" said Aaron Seaton, vice president, IT for TAO Asset Management. "Within minutes we were on our cell phones to our technology partner requesting they failover our MS Exchange Server, SQL Server and BlackBerry Server to utilize the Cloud Recovery capabilities that were protecting our mission critical infrastructure. Accessibility to our control systems at all times is an absolute requirement and that is exactly what Geminare’s iCloudRecovery iPhone application does. We can login and see current data replication statistics, and at any time choose to failover one or all of our servers. And then simply continue to monitor our environment from our handheld phones."
Leading the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) sector in Recovery as a Service solutions, and available through a network of cloud hosting and telco providers, MSPs and VARs, Geminare’s Cloud Recovery Server Replication ensures secure continuous availability of mission-critical applications by replicating a customer’s server environment in real-time to a cloud of their choice. The Cloud Recovery environment engages seamlessly in the event of system interruption or failure.
"Extending the capability of both our Recovery as a Service platform and our Cloud Recovery product line is a further commitment to our customers and partners to provide the latest technologies to manage their critical technology assets and systems," said Joshua Geist, CEO of Geminare Incorporated. "With the launch of iCloudRecovery we are putting the power of our patented and market leading Cloud Recovery platform into the hands of mobile users, making technology management easier than ever. iCloudRecovery is one of several exciting product launches we will be announcing over the course of the summer."
