Emtec Flash Keys Available at Meijer

The partnership with Meijer will allow EMTEC to reach a wider consumer audience for its catalog of consumer electronic products, which includes USB flash drives, memory cards, netbooks and other computer storage hardware devices.

Meijer will initially offer two lines of EMTEC USB flash drives: the Kooky character series and M300 Lollipop series. Based on the popular character pens known as Kooky Klickers, each Kooky USB Drive is named, numbered and marked with a holographic sticker to affirm its authenticity. EMTEC M300 USB Flash Drives feature a whimsical swirl design available in five fun colors. EMTEC flash drives are perfect for the office, back to school and gifts.

At the origin of Emtec is BASF, born in 1934! The company was a pioneer
in magnetic media technology being one of the first in audio magnetic
tape, then in cassette, floppy disk, CD-R, DVD-R and finally in USB
key, flash card and external HDD.
It changes its name into Emtec Magnetics in 1997 and introduced its Emtec brand name three years later.
Finally, its was acquired in 2006 by French Dexxon Group headquartered in Gennevilliers, France.
