inXtron From Taiwan Partnering with PLX

For a new NAS with online backup

At Computex 2010, inXtron Incorporated showcased its new network attached storage (NAS) units with i-Sharing software and the new PLX Technology, Inc.‘s chipset solution.

The new NAS devices, that inXtron refers to as their Personal Cloud Computing Server (PCCS), allow users to safely store and share the contents of their ‘personal cloud’ either within their own local network or around the world over the internet.

inXtron, in consumer storage hardware manufacturing, have incorporated the technologies from companies such as PLX Technology and its recently introduced NAS 7800 family of SoCs, to develop NAS products that allow users to not only store digital content on their NAS units, but also share and stream over the internet. The addition of the new PLX solution allows for improved streaming whether within a local network from the inXtron PCCS to a television via a device such as a Sony Playstation or around the world via the internet.
