Unified Manager centrally manages all Chelsio network adapter cards on the network across Windows and Linux environments.  It includes an intuitive GUI and command line interface, providing a simple to use, fast tool for IT managers to access every iSCSI initiator or target, iWARP peer, TCP/IP Offload (TOE) enabled and stateless NICs on a network.  Unified Manager now works on a wide range of operating systems: Windows 2003 and 2008, RHEL 4, 5, SLES 10, 11, Solaris 10, Open Solaris, FreeBSD and Mac OS.

UM version 1.1 has enhanced support for Linux filtering and traffic management and Linux and Windows driver installation (NIC, TOE, Teaming, iSCSI, OFED). It also adds support for auto-discovery of network and management of the Unified Storage Router (USR) appliance. Along with the USR and Unified Server Software, Chelsio has delivered a cost-effective solution that centralizes and lowers cost of management of storage networks.

"Unified Manager has been a very successful tool for our customers, enabling them to manage all Chelsio hardware and related software in one window, from anywhere," said Kianoosh Naghshineh, president and CEO of Chelsio. "There is ease of use and real dollar savings in reduced management costs for IT with a single point management."
