PROMISE Technology Inc. and Tarmin, Inc. have signed a global strategic alliance agreement to fulfill the demands of enterprise and mid-sized customers looking to reduce the cost of storing, searching and sharing data across an organization and in the cloud, while fully utilizing storage capacity.
 
The joining of forces between PROMISE and Tarmin enables organizations to further their IT consolidation projects: improving performance, lowering storage and IT costs, reducing management complexity, and improving data security. Through this partnership, customers leverage Tarmin’s automated policy-based management to archive and tier data across heterogeneous storage deployments to on-premise PROMISE RAID solutions, to cloud storage, or to both.
