Symantec’s GuardianEdge Chosen by Johns Hopkins Laboratory

Acquired by Symantec, GuardianEdge, in endpoint data protection, has been selected by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory to provide encryption solutions for protecting laptops and removable storage devices.

The Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a not-for-profit engineering, research, and development center and a division of The Johns Hopkins University, meets critical national challenges through the innovative application of science and technology.

GuardianEdge provided APL with its Hard Disk Encryption and Removable Storage Encryption solutions to ensure the organization’s compliance with all government standards for mobile data protection.
