Seagate To Unveil Momentus XT Hybrid HDD

Seagate Technology announced via Twitter that it will unveil a new hybrid HDD, the Momentus XT, with 4GB of SLC SSD and 7,200rpm SATA 3Gb 2.5-inch magnetic HDD at 250GB, 320GB and 500GB, priced at €92, €100 and €124 respectively.

The product is already offered by Proavantage.com at $133.84 for 500GB, with the following picture on its Web site:

The announcement is supposed to be scheduled next May 26.

Toshiba is also working on a similar product
