Enomaly and Geminare Partner
Delivering cloud infrastructure and recovery as a service
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 19, 2010 at 3:07 pmEnomaly Inc. in the cloud IaaS market, and Geminare Incorporated, in Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) enablement, announce a strategic partnership to enhance their offerings in the cloud services market. The joint Enomaly and Geminare solution is the first of its kind for service providers who can now offer their customers a real-time disaster recovery failover solution in the cloud, alongside a complete, secure IaaS cloud service platform.
Enomaly’s Elastic Computing Platform (ECP) is a multi-tenant cloud service delivery platform that enables service providers to operate their own feature-rich revenue-generating cloud infrastructure. Customers benefit from easy self-service access to burstable infrastructure on demand, managed through a complete self-service portal and a powerful API. Customers also benefit from ECP’s high availability features. And Enomaly’s High Assurance Edition (ECP HAE) adds unique hardware-based security mechanisms to deliver security capabilities never before available in the cloud, and strong enough to meet the highest customer requirements.
Geminare’s Server Replication RaaS offering is a white-labeled multi-tenant cloud service platform that provides customers with server replication services enabling automatic failover and failback for their mission-critical applications like MS Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, IIS, and Oracle databases. In the event of a server failure, service is automatically redirected to the cloud replica server and it is business as usual with zero capital investment and no onsite hardware required. This in turn gives cloud service providers an instant turn-key disaster recovery solution for their customers while increasing their revenue per hosted server.
Through integration and deployment of Geminare’s Server Replication RaaS platform on the Enomaly ECP IaaS Platform, service providers can revolutionize the way disaster recovery, business continuity and server replication services are delivered through the cloud, providing their customers with dynamically allocated, burstable IaaS infrastructure combined with a cost-effective way to manage and monitor their cloud recovery server infrastructure from anywhere, at any time.
"We are excited about the opportunities that this brings to current and future Enomaly partners and customers. With Recovery as a Service being one of the top offerings our partners look to provide within their cloud portfolio, Geminare’s Server Replication OnDemand is a critical piece in allowing them to monetize their cloud infrastructure investments," said Dr. Richard Reiner, CEO and Chairman.
"When selecting which partners to integrate with, it was imperative that our value propositions were aligned and it was clear from the start that both Enomaly and Geminare are focused on providing the most secure market-leading technologies to their partners. With Enomaly’s recent launch of ECP High Assurance Edition (ECP HAE), the first truly secure hardware-based security IaaS platform, we have clearly aligned with a partner that represents game changing technology for the market," said Joshua Geist, CEO of Geminare Incorporated.
