Atempo Time Navigator With De-Dupe to Novell Customers

Atempo, Inc. announced that Atempo Time Navigator has been certified on Novell Open Enterprise Server 2, and offers data duplication capabilities for Novell users.

Through the use of Atempo HyperStream Server technology, Novell customers have the additional feature of remote data protection and block-level deduplication over high and low bandwidth connections.
 
Certified interoperability of Atempo Time Navigator with Novell OES 2 enables joint customers to experience the full benefits of Atempo’s flagship high-performance backup and recovery solution. In addition to secured, tiered and highly scalable data protection in complex, heterogeneous environments, Time Navigator enables high speed data restoration from any point in time, enabling quicker eDiscovery and improved business performance. To improve storage and cost efficiency, the software offers data deduplication to local storage media, as well to remote locations via HyperStream Server. Operating at block-level, HyperStream backup, restoration and deduplication capabilities significantly reduces the amount of storage and network bandwidth required.
