New Versions of ZumoDrive Mobile Apps

Zecter, the company behind ZumoDrive, announced updated versions of their mobile applications for iPhone, Android and Palm smartphones.

The new versions of the mobile apps further ZumoDrive’s focus on delivering people’s music, photos and videos across all their computers and smartphones. ZumoDrive users have always been able to keep their music play lists, photo albums and other files on their devices without taking up local disc space or having to use wires to physically sync their files. Now with these new mobile app versions, they can upload files to ZumoDrive from their smartphones for access elsewhere. Users can also select files in ZumoDrive to be downloaded and stored locally on their smartphones for enjoyment even when they’re offline.

ZumoDrive has always given users a way to save and share this content across a variety of devices, but we’ve improved media streaming and made it possible to upload and download files to give users a better experience," said David Zhao, Founder and CEO of ZumoDrive. The particular new features that improve
previous versions of the mobile apps include:

• Ability to upload pictures and videos on iPhone, Android, Palm devices
• Ability to download files to iPhone, Android, Palm devices
• Ability to share content directly from iPhone, Android, Palm devices
• Improved media streaming on Android and Palm devices
• Password protection to lock the iPhone app

These features make ZumoDrive’s automatic sync capabilities even more powerful than before, as it’s now easier than ever to move content into the ZumoDrive service. Once music, photos, videos or other files are in ZumoDrive, the service takes over from there, showing the files on every device and streaming them to the user on access.

The iPhone, Android and webOS applications are available from their respective app stores and from www.zumodrive.com/download/iphone, www.zumodrive.com/download/android and www.zumodrive.com/download/palm, respectively.
ZumoDrive is also available for Linux, Mac and PC.
