"This is an incredible opportunity for us and we are very excited to be back in the online data backup and recovery service market," said Kevin Harris, new President and CEO of Vault USA. "We are delighted to acquire the success story of Vault USA. It is our plan to continue on their success by growing the current offerings of the existing Vault USA service model with new technologies and methodologies to even better serve current and future customers."

"They are true online data backup and recovery industry pioneers and bring proven industry leading expertise and leadership to the Vault USA business," said Tom Gelson, outgoing founder of Vault USA. "I am happy that Kevin and Bud are acquiring the Vault USA business and it will be in great hands."

Gelson and former Vault USA Chief Technology Officer Alex Stoev recently launched Nine Technology, Inc., a new online backup and recovery company focused on developing new online backup systems to offer to managed service partners. "I look forward to working with NextVault for many years to come as we partner on providing our new technology to individuals and corporations," added Gelson.

NextVault will maintain the Vault USA name and remain headquartered in Middleboro, MA.
