LSI Enhanced ONStor Partner Portal

And introduced Try & Buy program

LSI Corporation announced the enhancement of its ONStor Partner Portal and the introduction of a new Try & Buy program in support of its channel partners’ sales and marketing activities for LSI ONStor 3000 and 6000 Series NAS Gateway solutions.

LSI ONStor clustered network-attached storage (NAS) Gateway solutions are designed to help enterprises efficiently and cost-effectively consolidate, protect and manage the accelerating growth of unstructured data.

The LSI ONStor clustered NAS Gateway is a diskless appliance designed to provide scalable file services using a shared Fibre Channel storage area network (SAN), and is ideal for the consolidation of mission critical data across a broad range of heterogeneous enterprise SAN storage. LSI ONStor NAS Gateways are sold to end users through a worldwide network of channel partners and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The enhanced ONStor Partner Portal will help channel partners understand and articulate the value propositions of LSI ONStor products and tailor messaging to their customers’ specific needs. Registered members of the portal can access a wide range of resources needed to promote and sell LSI ONStor products including; sales promotions, marketing collateral, training materials, pricing information, and end user manuals.

The site also incorporates a new deal registration tool to help partners maximise their business opportunities. “The provision of value-added information in a timely manner is key to gaining a competitive edge in today’s market. Our enhanced portal is a direct response to the needs of our reseller partners. LSI partners now have access to a central repository, providing the tools and resources they need to meet their business objectives,” said Thomas Pavel, Channel Sales Director EMEA, LSI.

LSI has also launched a new Try & Buy program which enables resellers to address their clients’ specific storage needs by placing an LSI ONStor NAS Gateway at the end user’s location for 45 days. This enables the client to experience first-hand the benefits that can be gained from the ONStor open framework which is interoperable with a broad range of enterprise SAN storage arrays from multiple vendors.

LSI ONStor clustered NAS Gateway solutions enable customers to control system and management costs by consolidating their file server footprint, simplifying the management of unstructured data and providing a platform for growth in two dimensions; performance and capacity.
