Vital Path Launches Migration Center Solution

This new solution allows enterprise customers to quickly and easily organize, consolidate, synchronize and migrate data to or from EMC’s Documentum content management platform to several other popular content management systems, helping customers to move information in a methodical and secure manner. The software now provides a secure, one-to-one connection between EMC Documentum and other content management systems. Using a secure link between each platform’s native application program interface (API), Migration Center ensures security and compliance while solving the vast majority of content migration needs in an effective desktop application.
With the addition of EMC’s Documentum platform, Migration Center can currently manage content migration and integration with more than 18 different solutions and covering the most popular content management systems for business. These 18 solutions comprise an estimated 80 percent of the enterprise content management market, assuring that the majority of enterprises can benefit from the data migration and integration capabilities that Migration Center has to offer. Unlike other migration tools, Vital Path’s Migration Center is designed to leverage a business’ internal IT resources to migrate data without assistance from consultants or professional services. Using an intuitive user interface with prebuilt mapping and translation configurations, installing and implementing migrations is fast, easy, and secure.
