Certeon Joins Double-Take

Certeon, Inc., provider of virtualized WAN optimization and application acceleration, has been accepted into Double-Take Software’s Technology Alliance Program. Certeon’s aCelera Sync virtual appliance software enables Double-Take customers to meet their remote recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO) goals by reducing remote data backup and recovery times while lowering network bandwidth utilization by more than 95%.

The Double-Take Software Technology Alliance program is an ecosystem of leading technology providers that have strategically partnered with Double-Take Software to deliver best-of-breed solutions. Double-Take Workload Backup solutions and Certeon’s aCelera Sync work together to optimize data replication and recovery over wide area networks (WAN). In testing aCelera Sync with the Double-Take Workload backing-up multiple file types and sizes over a T1 link with 200 ms latency, the reduction in backup time was 96 percent and the reduction in network bandwidth utilization 95 percent.
