Manages Eucalyptus Walrus storage like Amazon S3.

CloudBerry Explorer from CloudBerry Lab allows end users to accomplish simple tasks without special technical knowledge, automate time-consuming tasks to improve productivity.

Eucalyptus is an open source software framework for cloud computing that implements what is commonly referred to as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Eucalyptus software provides users with the ability to run and control isolated collections of virtual machine instances with many EC2/S3-compatible tools.

Walrus is a storage service included with Eucalyptus that is interface compatible with Amazon S3. Walrus allows users to store persistent data, organized as buckets and objects.

The new version of CloudBerry Explorer helps you manage Walrus storage just like you manage Amazon S3. The users can upload the files to Walrus storage, create buckets and folders and perform other file management tasks.

In addition, CloudBerry Explorer PowerShell interface has been significantly improved. It is extended with the commands that help users you create temporary URLs for object stored on both Amazon S3 and CloudFront.

PowerGUI is a freeware tool that helps authoring PowerShell scripts. It is extensible with custom PowerPacks. The newer version of CloudBerry Explorer comes with Amazon S3 PowerPack for PowerGUI to make it easier for PowerShell developers to get started with Amazon S3 and CloudFront.

CloudBerry Explorer Sync Folder feature helps users synchronize their files between local computers and Amazon S3 buckets. New version introduces significant optimization for the sync process. By relying on Amazon S3 object ETAGS no longer it is necessary to access every object to identify out of sync condition and the whole sync process runs an order of magnitude faster.

CloudBerry Explorer is designed to work on Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7. Microsoft PowerShell command line interface allows advanced computer users integrate Amazon S3 storage access with other routines.

CloudBerry Explorer for Windows is a freeware. CloudBerry Explorer PRO costs $39.99 (US). You will continue to pay Amazon directly for their S3 charges.
