AJ Ragosta VP of Sales at Varrow

AJ Ragosta, VP of Sales, comes to Varrow after a 10-year career at EMC Corporation, most recently serving as the District Manager for EMC covering Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Prior to his role as a District Manager, AJ was a Senior Account Manager for EMC in the Carolinas. Prior to sales, AJ managed EMC’s Public Relations for their Open Software, Centera, and EMEA businesses. “I made the move to Varrow because they have the best engineering talent in the Carolinas. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the Carolinas because they have built the company one great person at a time and they are selling the leading technology solutions in their respective markets. Eric Henderson is a Senior Solutions Architect for Varrow with a focus on virtualization in the healthcare space. He has been involved on creation and delivery of virtualization solutions for the past seven years on multiple industry verticals with a great deal of focus the past two years in Healthcare. Over Eric’s 14 year IT career, he has worked for several consulting firms that were on the front end of cutting edge technology movements from the server, network, storage and application side. This has allowed him to work closely with market leading vendors such as VMware, Citrix and Microsoft as well as being a lead presenter at conferences across North America and for publication company, TechTarget. Eric is a father of two and enjoys running and biking when not spending time with family and being passionate about technology.
Aaron Dawson, Account Executive, at Varrow was employed at Southern Community Bank and Trust in Winston-Salem, NC for the last 8 years. First 5 years he was the Director of Information Technology, but for the past three years he has been Senior Vice President, Director of Technology and Operations. He was primarily responsible for the daily bank back-office operations and technical leadership. Specifically: Network Services, Application and Database Services, Data Processing, Electronic Banking, Deposit Operations, and the Project Management Office. Prior to the bank, Aaron held a mix of sales, project management, and sales engineering roles at Divine, NetUnlimited, and Inter-Tel Technologies. He has an MBA from Wake Forest University and served his undergrad at Appalachian State University. Aaron currently lives in Winston-Salem, NC with wife Missy and two sons Tate and Lucas. As a family they enjoy camping, fishing, baseball, basketball, and soccer. When the family is not at one of Tate’s baseball or basketball games, Aaron spend most of his personal time on his bike. “Most recent accomplishment was competing in and finishing the 2009 Leadville 100 mountain bike race. I usually compete in roughly 10 events a year, primarily in North Carolina. My big racing goal for 2010 is the Shenandoah100 in September.”
Tony Pittman, Enterprise Engineer at Varrow, has been in Information Technology for 8 years progressing through a range of duties, from helpdesk and desktop support to designing highly available infrastructure systems for healthcare and financial applications. He is an active member of the local Columbia, SC VMware Users Group and Professional Association for SQL Server.
